The serigraphy prints in the series space focus on the built environment, and architectural forms are extracted from my surroundings. Each print is 28” x 19” and is printed in an edition of 5. The works quote building facades and remove the compositions from the traditional rectilinear picture plane, and shaped to reflect architectonic forms and spatial relationships. This process enables the artwork to function as both a surface and an object. Each composition reflects the beauty inherent in everyday surfaces and structures at various stages of decay and renewal.
