Buildings provide support

Winston Churchill once quipped, "We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us"

I juxtapose the intentional design of architecture and the incidental structure of visual forms in various stages of decay and rebuilding. The current work is titled Structure, referencing the physicality of the materials on the surface and the metaphor of how buildings provide support. Sustainability is a key consideration in my work. I want to entice my viewers into a dialogue about issues of permanence, transience, and form.
